The Independent Motorsports Group (IMG) sanctions wheel to wheel Sprint and Endurance Racing, as well as On-Track High Performance Driver's Education events, On-Track Time Trials, and Competition Race Schools. Our goal is to provide a place for safe, no-contact performance driving in a friendly environment for drivers of all experience and skill levels.

What's a SprintDuro™?

IMG SprintDuro™ races are our unique combination of a 30-minute Sprint Race and a 2-hour Enduro.

All SprintDuro™ races start with all Sprint Racers and Endurance racers taking the green flag as part of a combined race group. At the 30-minute mark, we throw a checker for the Sprint racers. Racers who are registered for the Enduro portion of the event will continue on to complete a 2-hour Endurance Race, complete with a mandatory pit stop and optional driver change.

Racers who complete the entire SprintDuro will be scored and receive points for both the Sprint and Endurance Race. Racers who run just the Sprint Race portion get to enjoy an extended sprint with a big field and close competition.

See the Event Schedule for July 20-21 at NJMP Lightning

July 20th - 21st is IMG's Heat Lightning at NJMP weekend on the Lightning Circuit. We have two full days of On-Track HPDE, Time Trials, and Four Sprint Races for Small Bore, Big Bore, and ETC Challenge with a full compliment of sessions for each group.

On Saturday afternoon, we will also host the first Endurance Race of our 2013 season - a budget-friendly 2-Hour SprintDuro™ open to closed wheel race cars of all makes and models.

Just to balance things out for our loyal DE and TT drivers, we have made the sessions extra-long at this event. HPDE and Time Trial Entrants will enjoy 9 sessions totaling almost 3.5 hours throughout the weekend.

Online Registration is Open for our July 20-21 NJMP Event

Don't forget to register for our July 20th-21st Heat Lightning at NJMP weekend. We have a full weekend in store, with tons of track time in 3 run groups for our HPDE and Time Trial drivers.

Sprint Races enjoy a full compliment of four races along with Practice and Qualifying, and a 2-Hour Endurance Races is the cherry on top of our Saturday afternoon schedule.
